The goal of the Crisis Assistance Program is to prevent hunger and homelessness in our community.
- Help those that are under served or unemployed, keep their homes.
- Prevent utility disconnection.
- Assess crisis
- Verities qualifications
- Provide referrals to other agencies and programs as needed
- Provides Needs assessments
- Serves as a lead agency for local churches and other agencies in our community as single point of coordination and a centralized, automated data system.
- Prevent abuse of system and fraud
- Clients that have chronic needs, are unemployed, or in need of financial literacy will be required to enroll in our education programs to qualify for additional financial assistance.
- Clients that do not follow agency recommendations are disqualified from future financial assistance.
- Clients that are deemed “non-compliant” will not receive financial request referrals to other agencies.
