New Programs to Assist Families Out of Crisis.

You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day, Or you can teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.

The Mooresville Christian Mission believes if we are to make a difference in the lives of those we serve, we have to teach them to fish. Our emphasis on assisting those in poverty is to provide them with skills and resources necessary to become self sufficient. We have introduced Survival Skills Education & Development to our Economic Independence program to accomplish this goal. Survival Skills Education and Development (SSED) offers comprehensive life management training for 3 targeted populations.

Survival Skills for Women

Survival Skills for Men

Survival Skills for Youth

We have also added Workplace Survival Skills to our Workskills Education program to enhance our employment program.
